As the leading provider of epilepsy support and information nationwide Epilepsy Action Australia supports people living with the daily realities of epilepsy, offering compassionate, trusted care. Grounded in lived experience and frontline clinical expertise, this work is strengthened by system level leadership, nurse led specialist support and national capability building programs. By connecting people, services, evidence and policy, we improve system readiness, safety and inclusion, while helping individuals and families navigate health, disability, education, employment and community systems nationwide.

Quality, innovative, person-centred services delivered Australia-wide integrating self-management resources and tools, tailored plans, emotional support and access to a network of specialist providers.

Only national epilepsy Online Academy, building seizure response capability and system-wide knowledge across health, education, disability and community settings by offering practical courses, real-time learning, webinars and community-based training to those with epilepsy, families, teachers, GPs and other professionals.

Driving cultural change through knowledge, public awareness, informing policy and leadership to address stigma and misunderstanding that still widely exists about epilepsy with compassion and acceptance.

Translating research into better care by partnering and investing in the development of new interventions and treatments with real world impact. Evidence is actively translated into safe, effective practice to improve seizure management, quality of life and survival.

Epilepsy Action Australia is a National NDIS Service Provider delivering specialist education, advice and capacity‑building services through our highly skilled nursing workforce. We work with individuals, providers and systems to strengthen the environments around people with epilepsy, embedding epilepsy‑responsive capability across the NDIS workforce, improving safety and quality, and translating evidence into sustainable, system‑level change.
