Make your birthday count for more this year by asking for donations in lieu of gifts by creating a fundraising page. By selecting Epilepsy Action Australia as your non for-profit beneficiary, you will be choosing to support by increasing care and support of people with epilepsy and their families.

Here are a few of our beneficiary fundraising platforms that you can hop onto and begin creating your very own birthday fundraiser.

With most of the country in self-isolation or quarantine (keep it up!) we’ve got more time than usual to start a personal challenge! Will you pick up knitting, or learn to cook new meals, or maybe you want to finally dabble in a new language! Share your journey online and add a donate button for Epilepsy Action Australia to help those who need it!

#MyPurpleProject is the chance to use that self-isolation & quarantine time for good! Learn a new skill, share it online and add a Donate button to your Facebook posts for Epilepsy Action Australia! We can use this time for good – both self development and the development of research & services for people living with epilepsy 💜

3 Simple Steps to Successful Fundraising

Step 1 – Decide what you want to do

Whatever you decide make it fun for you. It could be something you’ve always wanted to try or that you already like doing. There are so many types of fundraising activities that you can choose and make into a fundraiser! If you’re not sure, have a look at our Fundraising Ideas Guide for some inspiration on what works well.

Step 2 – Register your fundraiser

Our Community Fundraising Guidelines includes all the information you need about fundraising on behalf of Epilepsy Action. Before you get started, we need you to submit a Community Fundraising Registration Form online or download a copy here to register your fundraising activity or event with us.

Once reviewed and approved, you will receive an ‘Authority to Fundraise’ letter giving you the official go ahead to start fundraising on our behalf.

Step 3 – Get started

You might like to consider setting up an online fundraising page, which is the easiest and quickest way to collect donations. We’re here to assist you with any questions you may have along the way so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us on 1300 37 45 37 or by using the contact form below. Happy fundraising!
