Make a Difference to Your Life and the Lives of Others
Our volunteers are incredibly valuable to us giving their time and energy in assisting our work of making life better for those with epilepsy. Everyone has different skills and interests and as such we offer numerous ways you can get involved as an Epilepsy Action Australia volunteer to raise awareness and funds for the condition.
You can help us through our many fundraising activities and events, participate in research or by speaking publicly to educate the wider community about epilepsy. It doesn’t matter how you help, we will appreciate your support and welcome you as part of our Australia-wide family.
As well as knowing you are truly doing something positive and making a difference to the lives of others, you will also benefit from making new friends, having fun and building new skills and knowledge.
We couldn’t deliver our valuable support and services to people with epilepsy without our family of incredible and cherished volunteers.
Some of the ways you can assist us include:
Fundraising is a great way to make a difference and have a lot of fun! We have a huge number of interesting ideas that may work for you from community events to involvement in one of our special epilepsy awareness days.
