Accredited Courses

Epilepsy Action Australia offers three nationally accredited online VET options which are delivered in partnership with Red Cross Training Services, as EAA’s authorised provider. These are primarily for health and community support workers wanting more in-depth knowledge about epilepsy management. It is relevant for anyone who supports an individual living with intellectual disability and epilepsy and is required to administer emergency medication for the management of seizures.

These courses require candidates to have completed a first aid course prior.

There are online and practical assessment tasks throughout the accredited training. Graduates of these online units will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by Red Cross Training Services (RTOID: 3605)
