Epilepsy Action Australia is proud to partner with consumer-led and community-based organisations that share our commitment to improving outcomes for people affected by epilepsy, seizures and related neurological conditions. Through collaboration, knowledge sharing and mutual support, we work together to strengthen lived-experience voices, improve access to information and services, and advance awareness and advocacy across Australia.

Our Community Partners bring diverse perspectives, expertise and lived experience that help build a stronger, more connected epilepsy community. While each organisation remains independent, we share a common goal of creating meaningful positive change for individuals, families and carers. Australian Women with Epilepsy is a community created by women with epilepsy, for women with epilepsy. Through connection, peer support and shared lived experience, AWE helps women feel understood, empowered and supported at every stage of their epilepsy journey.

Epilepsy Connect brings together the epilepsy community across the Newcastle region, creating meaningful connections between people with epilepsy, their families, friends and carers. Through mutual support and shared understanding, the group helps people feel connected, supported and empowered.

Hemispherectomy Foundation Australia supports children and families impacted by hemispherectomy surgery, providing connection, understanding and peer support throughout their journey. Through a strong community built on shared experience, they help families feel informed, supported and never alone.

Western Warrior’s Epilepsy Support Group is a welcoming community that brings together people affected by epilepsy across the Western Districts of New South Wales. Through connection, shared experiences and peer support, the group helps reduce isolation, build understanding and ensure no one faces their epilepsy journey alone.
