Change Lives with a Cup of Tea
This November we would love your community group or workplace to host a Tea4E morning or afternoon tea to help us celebrate Epilepsy Awareness Month and fundraise to help support people with the condition and their families.
It’s a great opportunity for you to gather your community group or work colleagues together for delicious treats, laughter, fun, fundraising, and very importantly to raise awareness of epilepsy.
You simply choose a date and time that suits you and we’ll give you access to all of our tips and tools to make your Tea4E event a great success, including posters, decorations, games, and checklists.
People can develop epilepsy at any stage of their lives but a large number have their first seizures during childhood or adolescence, or alternatively much later in life. If your community group or workplace is interested in learning more about epilepsy and how to manage someone having a seizure in your group meeting or workplace, we can offer group training or training modules are available online.
Your assistance in raising funds will contribute to much-needed services and resources all designed to help improve the lives of people with epilepsy and their families including education on the condition throughout Australian schools.
Signing up to host a Tea4E event is easy. Our Community Fundraising Guidelines include all the information you need about fundraising on behalf of Epilepsy Action. Simply complete the online Community Fundraising Registration Form and we’ll be in touch.
