Emergency Medications Icon This course is designed to provide participants with skills and knowledge to effectively administer emergency medications for seizures (such as diazepam and midazolam) via appropriate routes.  Students will learn about why the medication is required, the types of documentation involved, their responsibilities during the process, and how to administer the medications in a safe and timely manner.

SeizureSmart Icon This course is designed to provide participants who work with clients who have epilepsy and seizures with the knowledge and skills to recognise and describe seizures, explore the impact of epilepsy on a person’s lifestyle and provide basic seizure safety measures for clients.

RCNA logoThis course is endorsed by APEC No. 05051002 as authorised by Royal College of Nursing Australia (RCNA) according to approved criteria. Attendance attracts 3 RCNA CNE points as part of RCNA’s Life Long Learning Program (3LP).
