This course is designed to provide participants with skills and knowledge to effectively administer emergency medications for seizures (such as diazepam and midazolam) via appropriate routes.  Students will learn about why the medication is required, the types of documentation involved, their responsibilities during the process, and how to administer the medications in a safe and timely manner.

This online program is endorsed by ACN according to our Continuing Professional Development Endorsed Course Standards. It has been allocated 5.5 CPD hours according to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Continuing Professional Development Standard

Access to the online course will be provided for 90 days once the enrolment process is complete.  This is called the enrolment period.  The start date is the date you enrolled in the course and paid any enrolment fees, if applicable.  If you require more time to complete your study, you may apply for an extension of the enrolment period by contacting the Course Administrator.
