Seizures usually cannot be stopped once they have started.

Some people have a warning that they are going to have a seizure, and have some sort of tactic they use to try and stop it progressing. Some techniques mentioned by people with epilepsy are: lying down, relaxing, and having a drink of water. Whatever works for you!
