Are you participating in an event? Giving something up? Or just wanting to make a positive difference in the lives of children and adults affected by epilepsy?
Fundraising is a fun and effective way to help people living with epilepsy. It is a rewarding way for community groups, schools, workplaces, clubs and individuals to make a difference.
How to start
Step 1
Choose what type of fundraising activity or event you would like to organise. Read our Fundraising Ideas guide for some great fundraising ideas and tips on how to get started. There are so many types of fundraising activities to choose from that you can turn almost anything into a fundraiser!
Step 2
Read our Community Fundraising Guidelines. These guidelines have been developed to assist individuals, community groups and businesses understand the Community Fundraiser's responsibilities when conducting a community fundraising activity or event to benefit Epilepsy Action Australia.
Step 3
Complete and submit a Community Fundraising Registration Form to register your fundraising activity or event with Epilepsy Action Australia. Submit your form to the Community Fundraising
Co-ordinator at epilepsy@epilespy.org.au for approval.
Step 4
When your fundraising activity or event is approved, Epilepsy Action Australia will send you notification by post, including your Authority to Fundraise letter, confirming your legal 'authority to fundraise' on behalf of Epilepsy Action Australia.
