Epilepsy Action Australia employs around 130 staff members who provide specialist epilepsy services, fundraise and support the organisation’s core functions, as well as dedicated volunteers who give their time and assistance at various levels of the organisation, from administration to governance.
The organisation is committed to attracting skilled and motivated people to Epilepsy Action Australia and developing the skills and capabilities of our people so they can best meet the changing needs of our clients and the community.

Jodi is an experienced executive and communications professional who has managed and worked in media, government and business driving strategy and major projects. She is the Director of Government and Community Affairs for Family Planning NSW. Jodi has worked as a journalist and as a communications director for one of the largest regionally based integrated marketing agencies in Australia. She was involved in establishing the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI) before taking on a cabinet role as NSW Minister for Science and Medical Research, Women, Tourism and the Hunter region. She is also a board member of Australian Science Innovations.
