Glossary
What does it mean?

Your family are very important people in your life.

Mum, Dad, your sisters and brothers all may be worried about you.

Its best you all learn about epilepsy together.

Then they will know what to do if you have a seizure.

They will also know what to do to help stop seizures from happening.

Your family mostly wants to protect you and keep you safe, but they also want you to do all the other things children do.

It might be hard for everyone when the doctor first tells you about having epilepsy, but once you start taking medicine and learn about it, things should get easier.

Always remember you are an important person and people around you are just trying their best to help you and keep you safe.
