Glossary
What does it mean?

You cannot catch epilepsy from someone and no-one can get it from you.

It is not like a cold, which is spread by germs.

It is something that happens inside your brain.

Sometimes you are born with it, sometimes other people in the family have it, sometimes you get it from a bad illness or injury, and lots of times you never find out why you have it.
