Epilepsy Action Australia and Epilepsy Association of Western Australia presented Epilepsy: Top of Mind for people living
with or affected by epilepsy in Perth on Sunday 1 November 2009 at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre. The symposium
was a huge success with over 260 participants, 7 exhibitors and 18 speakers/chairs.
The symposium offered a range of sessions including topics around information on new medications, current and future
treatment options, sleep, intractable seizures as well as specialized streams for parents, adults with epilepsy,
and families affected by tuberous sclerosis complex.
